Stan's Barber shop has been in Lake Zurich for over 50 years. Some of you may never have heard of Stan's, and we are used to that. We are inconveniently located at 72 So. Old Rand Rd, across from the old volunteer fire station. Originally called Norm's, the shop was first opened one door south of the music store (Casper's Hardware back then) by Norm Samkus in 1952. Stan came to work there in 1962, and became owner in the '70s.
The shop is currently owned by Bruce and Marian Olson who have been at Stan's for 23 & 9 years respectively. Connie has been with Stan's for 29 years.
We like our clients to feel like they are coming to a friend for their hair needs. So come in, have a cup of coffee, chat with neighbors, listen to Bruce's bad jokes, and catch up on local happenings. If you haven't been in to Stan's, come in and meet us. We look forward to serving you!!
